It was after the rainiest week on record, a week of junior camp, where it rained every day except Thursday afternoon, the whole camp was a large puddle. The infield was a small lake and the kids had had body surfing competitions all week. During Saturday exit, a cabin inspector overheard one junior boy while packing up his suitcase, say to his cabin mate, "Hey, look...Mom sent TWO pairs of pants!"
If you could do anything in the world for one day, what would it be? Or, describe the perfect day.
Either delivering food and clothes to families in difficult situations in Honduras and having a chance to pray with them. To make an impact on their lives and laugh and cry with them. OR doing what I do at camp and in the normal course of a year, have the opportunity to sit down and invest in the lives of young men and women. To challenge them, encourage them in their walk To laugh, to pray, to share with them in a way that impacts them for the kingdom.
